Green and Clean provides professional, non-toxic, environmentally friendly house cleaning services in Concord, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Clayton, Alamo, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley and Brentwood.


ABOUT US

Green and Clean House Cleaning was started by the Michael Chavez Center, a nonprofit organization serving the Monument community of Concord, California. Low-income day laborers decided to take their futures into their own hands and start a cooperative that they collectively own and operate.

Each worker-owner is extremely devoted to the cooperative and all members participate jointly in key business decisions and share the profits. Their goal is to support their families and be economically self-sufficient while providing their clients with high-quality service. By using natural and least toxic cleaning products, they aim to protect the health of their clients, their own health, and the health of our planet.

Cooperative members have received 50+ hours of extensive training from the WAGES organization covering topics such as chemical composition of cleaning products, cleaning techniques and good business practices.
